Emboss Resist Technique
Happy Friday Everyone!! I tried a new technique today(new to me) it's a resist technique with ink and embossing. Pretty simply to do, choose a stamp you would like to incorporate in your card, stamp it with VersaMark and add embossing powder. Most of the ones I've seen have used clear embossing powder, but I had just gotten some Ranger Lemon Yellow and wanted to give it a try. So after applying embossing powder use heat gun and don't over heat. I switched up using the different Funny Flowers from Peachy Keen Stamps they're so sweet, now you just start sponging on different colored inks lightly, getting a blended look until your happy with the result. If you get some ink clinging to the embossed lines you can take a baby wipe or damp cloth and lightly go over it. Now you have a background paper to match your project. If you have any questions just drop me a line and I will help. Also if you have any tips on coloring a project let me know, this is my first time coloring an image. It's okay but I wish I could afford a few Copic markers. Will be entering this into the Peachy Keen Challenge #13 (Lets Face it Friday--Mother's Day). Thanks for stopping by!! Cindy
